Franklin County to hold town hall on flood buyout program
FRANKFORT, Ky. (ABC36 News Now) — The Franklin County Fiscal Court is hosting a town hall meeting this week for Frankfort residents impacted by historic flooding earlier this year.
Officials say the meeting is for homeowners interested in selling property that was damaged during the April floods as part of the county’s buyout program.
The town hall is scheduled for Thursday at 6:30 p.m. at the Paul Sawyier Library on Wapping Street.
Residents with questions about eligibility or the program are encouraged to attend.
