Franklin County courts returning to courthouse after April flooding
FRANKFORT, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) – Franklin County courts are preparing to return to their home building after months of operating in temporary locations due to April’s devastating flooding.
Court operations will resume at the Franklin County Courthouse on Tuesday, September 2.
To prepare for the move, the clerk’s temporary office at the Administrative Office of the Courts will close to in-person business this Friday and reopen next week inside the courthouse.
The courthouse on St. Clair Street has undergone extensive remodeling after the flood damage and is now ready to reopen for business. For more information, residents can visit the court’s website or call the clerk’s office.
