Frankfort Police make burglary arrest

FRANKFORT, Ky. (WTVQ) – According to the Frankfort Police on Monday around 12:47 a.m., officers responded to Blue’s gas station located on Schenkel Lane for a burglary in progress. The business was closed at the time and officials say when they arrived a man was standing behind the counter putting items in his pocket. Police say they yelled at the man he then moved to the backroom. Officers searched the building and found the suspect hiding in an ice maker. Police arrested 28-year-old Nelson Yanez and charged him with burglary 3rd Degree.
