Frankfort Police Investigate Reported Credit Card Skimmers

Frankfort, Ky. (WTVQ)  – The Frankfort Police Department has received reports of credit card skimmers being placed into ATM machines at various locations throughout the city in an attempt to steal credit/debit card information.

They encourage citizens to remain vigilant and examine the ATM before using the machine.

If the ATM appears to have been altered or suspicious looking do not use the machine and report it to the financial institution/law enforcement immediately.

Also, remain cognizant of your purchase and report fraudulent charge to your financial institution immediately.
