Frankfort man sentenced for illegally having gun
FRANKFORT, Ky. (WTVQ) – A Frankfort man was sentenced to just over five years in federal prison for being a convicted felon in possession of a firearm, according to prosecutors.
Kian Christopher, of Frankfort, reached a plea deal, according to prosecutors.
In August 2018, Frankfort Police say officers saw Christopher throw a gun on the ground at the VFW after a shooting. They say they found shell casings at the scene and a woman shot inside the VFW, according to Christopher’s plea agreement.
He was convicted of robbery in 2013, according to prosecutors.
