A Frankfort man dead after a shooting

FRANKFORT, Ky. – (WTVQ) A Frankfort man is dead from what seems to be a shooting.

The coroner’s office says 39-year-old Michael Gaines was found this afternoon on forest hill drive in Frankfort.

According to the coroner, a preliminary exam shows Gaines was shot multiple times.

Police and the coroner are now investigating his death as a murder.
