UPDATE: Suspect in Fatal Frankfort Shooting Turns Himself In
FRANKFORT, Ky. (WTVQ) – Frankfort Police say Toma Washington, suspected in the shooting death of Jaleesa Robinson at a Frankfort apartment complex, has turned himself in.
Police found Jaleesa Robinson, 24, at the Circle K on Schenkel Lane with gunshot wounds Tuesday evening. Police say she drove to the gas station to call 9-1-1 after having been shot along Ridgeview Drive.

Officers issued an arrest warrant for Washington on Wednesday.
Washington turned himself in to police at around 11:00 a.m.

An arrest warrant has been issued for a man police think may be responsible for a fatal shooting at an apartment complex on Ridgeview Drive in Frankfort.
Frankfort Police say Jaleesa Robinson, 24, drove to the Circle K gas station on Schenkel Lane and called 911 after having been shot.
She was airlifted to UK hospital, and died just after 8:00 p.m., according to a coroner’s report.
Police are now looking for Toma Washington, 40, of Frankfort in connection to the shooting.
Officers say they consider Washington armed and dangerous, and that a violent criminal history leads them to believe he may be a danger to the community.
Investigators say that Washington and Robinson have a child together, but don’t know why the two were at the apartment complex. According to police, neither Robinson nor Washington live there.
Anyone who knows the whereabouts of Washington is asked to contact police immediately.

Frankfort Police say a woman was found with several gunshot wounds at a gas station Tuesday evening.
Investigators say the victim called 911 from the Circle K on Schenkel Lane in Frankfort.
Police say they’re still trying to figure out if the woman was shot at the gas station or showed up there after being wounded at another location.
The woman, whose name wasn’t released, was airlifted to UK Hospital.
