Four Wildcats earn AVCA All-America honors

LEXINGTON, Ky. (ABC 36 NEWS NOW) – The Kentucky Volleyball team had four players named to the American Volleyball Coaches’ Association (AVCA) All-America teams.

Brooklyn DeLeye and Eva Hudson earned First Team All-American honors, Kassie O’Brien was named to the second team, and Molly Tuozzo was named to the Third Team.

O’Brien also made program history by being named the AVCA National Freshman of the Year, becoming the first player in Kentucky Volleyball history to earn the prestigious honor.

Kentucky’s four AVCA All-Americans are tied with Nebraska for the most in the nation this season.

•    Second Team All-SEC
