Four Whitley County men indicted on rape charges
WHITLEY COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ) – A Whitley County grand jury has handed down indictments against four men accused of raping a woman and recording it on a cell phone.
The Herald-Leader says 18-year-old Ronald Leas, 19-year-old Benjamin Brock, 18-year-old Ryan Davis and 18-year-old Michael Davis were all indicted Monday on charges of rape and video voyeurism.
According to police, the four men had sexual intercourse with a woman while she was highly intoxicated.
The men are also accused of using a camera phone to record the sexual assault.
The woman told police she was acquainted with the men, but wasn’t involved with any of them.
According to the Herald-Leader, the men were ordered to stay away from the victim, but Leas and Ryan Davis were later charged with tampering with a witness after police say they went to the victim’s place of work.
Both are being held in the Whitley County Detention Center
