Four Kentucky players withdraw from NBA Draft
Players include: Amari Williams, Lamont Butler Jr., Andrew Carr and Koby Brea
Lexington, Ky. (ABC36 News Now)- Four Kentucky men’s basketball players are fully focused on the Wildcats’ upcoming season now after withdrawing from the NBA Draft, per CBS Sports.
The four players announced their commitment to Kentucky in late April, but kept their names in the NBA Draft to test the waters throughout the month of May.
Amari Williams, Lamont Butler Jr., and Andrew Carr announced their decision to return to college on Tuesday while Koby Brea joined them on Wednesday.
Williams, Butler Jr., Carr and Brea will all be entering their final season of college eligibility this fall to play for the Wildcats under first year Head Coach Mark Pope.
