Four arrested in drug bust in Franklin County

FRANKFORT, Ky. (WTVQ) – Four people got a trip to jail for Christmas after deputies say they were found with a large amount of methamphetamine.

According to the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office, on Monday evening deputies spotted a car at the Days Inn parking lot in Frankfort that was suspected of being used to transport drugs.

Deputies say they found William Salmons in the car and arrested him.

They say the owner of the car wouldn’t give consent to search the car, so a Frankfort Police K9 unit was called in and detected drugs.

Officers searched the car and discovered over 17 grams of methamphetamine, 1.5 grams of heroin, needes, digital scales and $800 in cash, according to investigators.

Salmons, along with Davis Fallis and Joshua Croucher, were arrested for trafficking methamphetamine and possession of heroin.

Also arrested was Ciji West, who deputies say was found inside a hotel room rented by Salmons, Fallis and Croucher and had heroin and methamphetamine on her.
