Four arrested, 1 in Lexington, for slaying of Ohio family

COLUMBUS, OHIO (WTVQ/AP) – Four people accused of murdering an Ohio family are under arrest and police say one of the arrests was made in Lexington.

The Lexington Police Department says 47-year-old George “Billy” Wagner III was taken into custody Tuesday afternoon and booked into the Fayette County Detention Center.

Wagner’s wife, 48-year-old Angela Wagner, and their sons, 27-year-old George Wagner IV and 26-year-old Edward “Jake” Wagner, were also arrested Tuesday but authorities did not say where they were taken into custody.

The Wagners are accused of killing seven adults and a 16-year-old boy in 2016 at four homes near Piketon.

No motive was given.

Authorities say the Wagners moved to Alaska after the killings.
