Four accused of stealing fishing items for drugs

LAUREL CO., Ky. (WTVQ) – The Laurel County sheriff says four people are under arrest for stealing fishing equipment to buy drugs.

Deputies say someone broke into an outbuilding on Jackson Fariston Road near London and took $21,000 worth of rods, reels, baits, tools and other equipment.

Deputies say they found some of they stolen property behind a residence and in a barn off Jackson Fariston Road in the same vicinity of where the burglary had occurred.

The sheriff says deputies arrested Lloyd Burkhart, Deseray Rogers and Jeannie Rogers

They then went to another residence and found more stolen property and arrested Marty Wagers.
