Fort Campbell to light Christmas tree on Dec. 5

FORT CAMPBELL, Ky. (AP) — Fort Campbell will kick off the holiday season with a Christmas tree lighting on post.

The home to the 101st Airborne Division will light the tree on Dec. 5. The celebration is scheduled to include holiday music from the 101st Airborne Division Band, season’s greetings from Fort Campbell and division leadership and a possible special guest.

The festivities are scheduled from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. Friday at the Town Center Park at the military post on the Kentucky-Tennessee state line.
