Former Webster Co. teacher pleads guilty to federal child porn charges

OWENSBORO, Ky. (WTVQ) – Prosecutors say a former middle school social studies teacher is heading to prison after pleading guilty to federal child pornography charges.

Lucia Jenkins, who taught at Webster County Middle School, entered the plea on Tuesday.

According to the Gleaner newspaper, Jenkins was arrested following an investigation into the death of a 25-year-old former student with whom Jenkins was living.

The newspaper says during the investigation, child pornography was found on Jenkins’ phone.
