Former UK Wildcat Rex Chapman pleads guilty to theft charges

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – A former UK basketball player has pleaded guilty to theft charges.

Rex Chapman has agreed to probation and community service for that plea.  He was accused of stealing items from an apple store in Scottsdale, Arizona.

The Lexington Herald-Leader says he has agreed to pay back $15,000 dollars to the store.

His sentencing is set for September 25th.
