Former Raceland clerk arrested for misusing city funds

GREENUP COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ)- A former city clerk in Greenup County is behind bars, accused of using city money to buy comedy show tickets.

State Police say last month Raceland’s newly elected mayor ordered an audit of city funds and found the city’s credit card had been misused.

There were charges for Jeff Dunham tickets and personal items not related to city business.

State police arrested former city clerk Rebecca Miller Friday for embezzlement of more than $16,000.

She’s charged with fraudulent use of a credit car, $10,000 or more.
