Former President Trump to be in Lexington for May fundraiser

LEXINGTON, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) – Former President Donald Trump is set to visit Lexington next month for a high-dollar fundraiser, as reported by the National Review.

According to the National Review, Trump’s fundraising tour will include stops in Miami, Lexington, and Las Vegas. The event in Lexington is scheduled for May 15th.

The fundraiser is set to be hosted by prominent figures including Barbara Banke, chairman and owner of Kendall-Jackson Winery, as well as Lexington residents Joe and Kelly Craft. Kelly Craft, who served as the US Ambassador to the United Nations during part of Trump’s administration, and Joe Craft, a billionaire coal businessman and well-known University of Kentucky supporter, are among the hosts of the event.

Attendees can expect entry fees starting at $25,000 per couple, with the highest tier reaching $844,600 per couple, according to the invitation shared by the National Review.

Similar fundraising events are scheduled for Miami on May 5th and Las Vegas on June 8th, all organized by the Trump 47 fundraising committee.
