Former President Trump to attend Wednesday fundraiser in Lexington

LEXINGTON, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) – Former President Donald Trump is set to visit Lexington Wednesday night for a high-dollar fundraiser, as reported by ABC36 News Now April 26th.

This is one of the stops for Trump’s fundraising tour, which included an event in Miami last week, and one in Las Vegas next month according to the National Review.

The invitation, supplied to the National Review shows the fundraiser is set to be hosted by prominent figures including Barbara Banke, chairman and owner of Kendall-Jackson Winery, as well as Lexington residents Joe and Kelly Craft. Kelly Craft, who served as the US Ambassador to the United Nations during part of Trump’s administration, and Joe Craft, a billionaire coal businessman and well-known University of Kentucky supporter, are among the hosts of the event.

The invitation also shows satendees can expect entry fees starting at $25,000 per couple, with the highest tier reaching $844,600 per couple, according to the invitation shared with donors.

The events are organized by the Trump 47 fundraising committee.
