Former President Makes Emergency Stop in Kentucky
Former President George W. Bush stopped in Kentucky last night, but it wasn’t planned.
He had a bit of a scare in the air overnight.
Mr. Bush was on a Gulfstream-Four plane flying from Philadelphia to his home in Dallas, when the pilot smelled smoke in the cockpit.
The plane was diverted to Louisville where the pilot landed safely.
A spokesman for the former President said Mr. Bush arrived home early this morning.
No word yet on what caused the issue.
