Former La Grange pastor pleads guilty in child sex case

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (AP) – A former pastor has pleaded guilty to sex crimes after admitting to having paid sex with a child on multiple occasions.

Media outlets report 64-year-old Howard Key Chambers pleaded guilty Tuesday in U.S. District Court to engaging in sex trafficking with a girl who was 10 and 11 years old in 2013 and 2014.

According to court documents, Chambers admitted to posting a Craigslist ad seeking role playing fantasies. His co-defendant in the case, 33-year-old Christopher Kosicki, responded. The documents say Chambers would drive to Kosicki’s Louisville home and engage in sex acts with a 10-year-old.

Kosicki was sentenced Feb. 1 to 50 years in prison.

Chambers is scheduled to be sentenced July 5. He faces between 15 and 30 years in prison.

Chambers’ attorneys declined to commen
