Former HS Band Director Arrested On Sex Abuse Charges

Cincinnati.com says 34-year-old Kenneth “David” Owens was arrested Thursday.

It says Grant County Schools Superintendent Ronald Gene Livingood put out this statement:

“On Wednesday, September 11th, the administration of the Grant County School District became aware of rumors that a high school faculty member, David Owens, may have been involved in an inappropriate relationship with a former student. The administration acted immediately to investigate and within 24 hours of first hearing these rumors, Mr. Owens had resigned in lieu of termination. As a result of our report, Mr. Owens has been arrested.”

Owens wife JoAnn is reportedly employed as a band director with Grant County Schools.
