Former high school band director accused of raping student at school
HOPKINSVILLE, Ky. (WTVQ)- A former band director at Hopkinsville High School has been indicted after being accused of raping a student in the band instrument closet.
According to the Kentucky News-Era, 30-year-old Jordan Peveler has been indicted on rape and sodomy charges, with a minor under the age of 18, at the school and at his home.
It’s unclear if there were multiple victims in this case.
Peveler’s wife, Hannah Peveler, is also facing charges for reportedly tampering a witness.
The paper says Hannah Peveler is a former assistant commonwealth’s attorney for Christian County.
