Former Estill County judge-executive indicted for abuse of public trust
FRANKFORT, Ky. (WTVQ) – A former Estill County judge-executive is accused of stealing money belonging to Estill County.
The Kentucky Office of the Attorney General says a Franklin County grand jury indicted 56-year-old Wallace Taylor this week on one count of abuse of public trust.
According to the attorney general, from December 1, 2016, through March 31, 2017, Taylor took more than $38,000 in state and federal grants funds that belonged to the county.
The Franklin Circuit judge issued a $40,000 bench warrant for Taylor, who was arrested Thursday, September 20.
