Former Clark Co. emergency operations employee sentenced after stealing public funds

CLARK COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ)- A former Clark County employee will have to serve seven days in jail and repay nearly $13,000 after stealing public funds.

41-year-old Jennifer Adkins was treasurer of the Local Emergency Planning Committee Account.

She pleaded guilty last year to taking funds.
