Former Carlisle city clerk indicted on theft charges

CARLISLE, Ky. (WTVQ) – A former Carlisle city clerk has been indicted on charges of theft and abuse of the public trust.

According to the indictment, 60-year-old Ann Brierly stole more than $10,000 from the city of Carlisle from 2013 to 2018.

Brierly is being held in the Bourbon County Detention Center on a $13,500 cash bond.
