For The People Coalition hold 2nd annual BLM march

FRANKFORT, Ky. (WTVQ) – On Saturday, hundreds of people marched to the Capitol in Frankfort for the 2nd annual Black Live Matter march.

Held by the ‘For The People Coalition’…organizer Katima Smith Willis says the march was to bring awareness to social issues like systemic racism and police brutality.

She says more than 200 people participated.

The organization passed out pamphlets about Juneteenth and information on voter registration and local organizations in Frankfort that people can join to be a part of the movement.

They also sang happy birthday to Breonna Taylor.
