Flooding could affect NCAA tournament plans

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WTVQ) – As NCAA fans prepare for March Madness, one tournament location is having some trouble.

The KFC Yum! Center in Louisville is facing a parking problem as Ohio River flood waters have claimed prime parking spots downtown.  Three parking garages and one lot are currently not fully available.

Tiffany Smith, of Parking Authority, says "Of course we we are making immediate measures to clean up the spaces to accommodate the people that are coming in town, but until the water starts to recede, there is not a whole lot we can do."

Smith encourages people to walk or carpool to the center for the games on Thursday.
