Dog found amidst flood damage in Jessamine County

NICHOLASVILLE, Ky. (WTVQ) – A dog that was either lost or abandoned during the recent flooding was found on Monday when members of Jessamine County EMA/C-S-E-P-P surveyed some of the hardest hit areas.

The dog was taken to the Jessamine County Animal Shelter in hopes of finding its owner or a new home, according to officials.

Crews plan to continue looking at hard hit areas on Tuesday and Wednesday.
