Five-vehicle chain reaction crash slows traffic in Lexington
LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Lexington Police say a driver who wasn’t paying attention triggered a five-vehicle chain reaction crash Wednesday night.
It happened on Winchester Road at the exit ramp to southbound I-75, according to police.
It led to a temporary traffic backup. The scene has been cleared and traffic is moving normally again.
Investigators say the inattentive driver ran into the back of another vehicle, which led to the chain reaction collision.
