Fishtrap Lake Marina east of Shelbiana is unsafe, has been closed: Corps

SHELBIANA, Ky. (WTVQ) – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers has determined the marina at Fishtrap Lake in Shelbiana, Ky., is unsafe for public use.

The marina, located in Pike County south of Pikeville, has been closed and is being removed from the lake, the Corps said in a statement.

A public announcement will be made in the near future when public bids are being accepted for the installation and operation of a new marina.
