LEXINGTON, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) – Lexington Police are urging drivers to use extra caution after a spike in weather-related traffic incidents during Monday’s snow and ice.
Officers say they responded to more than 120 crashes and roadway issues throughout the day as slick conditions made travel hazardous.
Crews have been working to clear major streets and intersections, but police remind drivers to stay alert, keep a safe distance from other vehicles, and slow down when traveling on icy or snow-covered roads.
