A CLARK COUNTY CIRCUIT CLERK HAS MADE HISTORY… BECOMING THE FIRST AFRICAN AMERICAN TO EVER HOLD THE POSITION IN KENTUCKY.

WHEN MARTHA MILLER WALKED INTO HER OFFICE FOR THE FIRST TIME AS CLARK COUNTY CIRCUIT CLERK.. SHE WASN’T AWARE SHE WAS MAKING HISTORY..

SHE RAN UNOPPOSED AND SAYS THE SUPPORT WAS OVERWHELMING..

<I was in the military, stationed in across the seas, so when I went to Korea, my son and my daughter came to stay with her. She had them for the year I was in Korea, and all I had to do was say Shel I need you, and she was always there. She was very supportive.>
