Firefighters on scene at apartment building fire on Tates Creek

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) — Firefighters are working a fire at an apartment building on Tates Creek Road.

They say a neighbor called them just after five o’clock Friday morning.

They evacuated the building, but no one was hurt.

There were more than a dozen fire trucks on scene, but they say it was a typical response for a building that size.

A fire investigator is working the scene, trying to find out the cause of the fire.
