Firefighters respond to 4th fire at Estill County apartment
IRVINE, Ky. (WTVQ) – Estill County firefighters responded to a call for a fire at a building they have become all too familiar with over the past year.
The Irvine Fire Department says the fire broke out at an abandoned apartment building on Valley Drive around 1:10 a.m.
They say they arrived to find heavy flames pushing through the roof but were able to put it out quickly.
No one was hurt during the fire.
This was the fourth time this year firefighters have had to battle a fire at the apartment building.
A man was arrested earlier this month and charged with arson in connection to two fires that started at the building.
