Firefighters rescue dog after it falls into sinkhole
Brodhead, Ky. (WTVQ) – One dog made sure it was anything but a relaxing Thanksgiving for two fire departments.
The Brodhead Fire Department says at around 7:45 a.m. Thursday they, and the Mount Vernon Fire Department, got a call about a dog that fell into a sinkhole near Sand Springs Road.
The team assembled a rope system and lowered a firefighter down into the hole where the dog fell.
Both the dog and firefighter were pulled to safety.
