Firefighters investigating after overnight fire

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Lexington fire officials are investigating after a fire broke out at a building on the city’s East End.

According to the fire department, it happened around 10 p.m. on Goodloe Street, off Midland Avenue.

Firefighters say the fire was mostly contained to a shed attached to the main building, though the connected building was damaged as well.

No one was inside at the time of the fire.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.

According to the fire department, there have been several fires in the same area over the past few months. They say it isn’t clear if any of them are connected.
