Firefighter Hurt Battling Lightning Fire

Fire officials said lightning likely caused a late-night fire that destroyed a Clark County winery.

The fire broke out around 11 p.m. at the Harkness Edwards Vineyards.

When firefighters arrived, they said the winery was fully engulfed in flames.

Officials said the fire burned quickly through the wooden building, fueled by a large quantity of alcohol inside.

A Clark County firefighter was taken to the hospital for a back injury. No word on his condition.
