Fire spreads through building; starting at Bluegrass Barrel House in Richmond

RICHMOND, Ky. (WTVQ)- The Richmond Fire Department responded to a fire that had spread from the Bluegrass Barrel House bar to Bernie’s Cycle Shop Tuesday morning.

Richmond Fire says the fire happened around 9:45 Tuesday morning. When firefighters arrived, they couldn’t figure out exactly where the fire was.

Firefighters say the fire originated at the Bluegrass Barrel House bar and spread to the 2nd floor above Bernie’s Cycle Shop.

There is little fire damage, but there is smoke, heat, and water damage to the building.

The Richmond Fire Department says no one was injured and the fire was put out quick.
