LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ)- Investigators are looking into the cause of a fire at an empty apartment complex on Eureka Springs.

Firefighters say it started just after three Sunday afternoon. They didn’t know the units were vacant until they got on the scene and searched.

Investigators say the open rooms in the complex led to the fire spreading quickly. No one was injured while fighting the fire, which caused extensive damage to the building.
