Fire heavily damages Richmond home

RICHMOND, Ky. (WTVQ) – A Richmond home is heavily damaged in a late-night fire.

The fire broke out at 110 Forest Hill Drive just before 11 p.m. Monday.

Firefighters say the woman who lives there was not home at the time.

Fire destroyed the roof, but firefighters say the home is not a total loss.

They also say the fire does not appear suspicious, but an investigator will be on the scene later to try and determine what happened.
