Fire destroys part of Winchester business

WINCHESTER, Ky. (WTVQ) – Fire crews were called to a business fire in Winchester Friday afternoon.

The fire broke out at the Ole Red Barn Mall at 148 Winn Avenue just before 1 p.m.

According to the Clark County Fire Department, the fire started in the roof in a part of the building that was being torn down.

No one was inside that area of the building at the time of the fire.

Firefighters say they are not sure the extent of the damage.
