Fire damages garage of townhouse on Kearney Ridge Boulevard
LEXINGTON, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) – Firefighters responded to a townhouse fire Monday afternoon on Kearney Ridge Boulevard, near Masterson Station Park and Georgetown Road.
According to the Lexington Fire Department, crews arrived around 2 p.m. and saw smoke and flames coming from the home.
Fire officials say the bulk of the fire was contained to the garage. The flames did not spread into the main living area of the townhouse.
The fire has since been put out, and no injuries were reported.
Fire officials say one adult and four children will be displaced for at least one night as a result of the damage.
The cause of the fire has not been released.
