Fire At Lexington Apartment Complex Considered Suspcious
More than a dozen people were forced out of their apartments Wednesday night because of a fire.
Firefighters said the fire at the Pegasus Apartments on Larkin Road in Lexington is considered suspicious.
Firefighters said it was contained to a single apartment but there was extensive damage.
Some residents reported seeing a man jump out of the window of the apartment before the fire broke out just before 11 p.m.
They also said the people who lived in the apartment were recently evicted.
The American Red Cross is helping those residents who were displaced.
