Fire at apartment complex in Lexington

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – A fire at an apartment complex in lexington has left at least one person without a place to stay.

Fire officials say it all started just before 3:00 p.m. at an apartment building in the Raintree Apartments complex on North Locust Hill.  Firefighters say they believe the fire started in the kitchen area.  Only one apartment was damaged by fire, but other units in the building suffered smoke damage.

The apartment with the fire was rendered uninhabitable.  Fire investigators say no one was harmed in the fire.
