Fire at apartment complex in Lexington

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Fire was contained to one unit at Arbor View Apartments on Royalty Court in Lexington Wednesday night, according to Lexington firefighters. Investigators say the apartment had smoke and heat damage. No one was hurt.

Investigators say the fire damage was in the living room area. Smoke had to be ventilated from some other apartments, but firefighters say the people were expected to be able to get back into their homes this evening.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
