Finalists Announced For Georgetown College President
A twelve-member committee at Georgetown College has narrowed the search for the new president down to three candidates.
Chairman William J. Houston says they are:Cheryl Kimberling, president, Multicultural Alliance, Fort Worth , Texas ; Jim Newberry, vice-president and general counsel, Georgetown College ,Georgetown , KY ; and Jason Rogers, vice president for administration and university counsel, Belmont University, Nashville, TN.
Each candidate will meet with trustees, faculty, staff, alumni, students, and others on campus next week.
After gathering feedback from those groups, the search committee will recommend to the board of trustees who will then select the 24th president of Georgetown College.
Current Georgetown College president William H. Crouch, Jr. will retire June 30th.
