Fight leads two men to crash truck they’re accused of stealing

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ)- Two men are under arrest after a fight led them to crash the truck they are accused of stealing.

Lexington Police say two men were driving in the stolen truck on Stone Road when they started a fist fight.

The passenger reportedly pulled out a knife, while the truck was in motion, and stabbed the driver three times.

Police say both of them ditched the car and ran. Officers say they found both men.

The driver is at UK Hospital being treated for the stab wounds, but he is charged with leaving the scene of an accident and receiving stolen property.

The truck’s driver is in jail, facing similar charges.
