Fight leads to shooting in Lexington

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – A dispute earlier in the day led to a shooting hours later, according to Lexington police.

Two men got into a fight with another man on Wednesday.

Police say at around 2:40 a.m. Thursday, the two men confronted the man again at the Carolyn Manor apartments on Cambridge Drive and one of them shot him.

The victim was taken to the hospital with what police say are non life-threatening injuries.

They say he is not being cooperative.

Police believe the victim and the two suspects knew each other.
