Fifth Annual Glow Ride happening Friday night in Lexington

LEXINGTON, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) – The city’s fifth annual Glow Ride is set to light up Coolavin Park Friday night with a celebration of community, cycling, and safety.

The free, family-friendly event runs from 5 to 7:30 p.m., with the community bike ride rolling out at 6:30. Riders of all ages are encouraged to decorate their bikes — and themselves — with lights and glow gear to promote visibility and safety on Lexington’s roads.

After the ride, participants can stick around for a glow-in-the-dark dance party, giveaways, and food trucks.
